Today, he is a touring Broadway actor and vocal artist, but in his own words, he is living a dream that he honestly didn’t have for himself. Growing up in Little Rock, AR, he went to college for engineering even though his first desire was to sing professionally. His biggest challenge?  His network and not really knowing how to break into the industry.

In this episode, Desmond candidly shares how he was able to counter lack of opportunity with guts and initiative, the importance of artist preparation, how to nail your next audition, and how being open to change can ultimately shift you in the direction of your dreams.
